Why the difference? Our upstream infrastructure costs accrue continuously and don't pause when your invoice does. The longer we keep an unpaid VPS running, the more we lose — so shorter billing cycles get shorter retention windows. Annual customers pay up front, so we can afford to hold the door open longer. Once deletion runs, recovery is not possible — please keep your own off-site backups (Storage Box above is purpose-built for this).
